1957-1959 Saro Terrapin built by Saro- boat number A120, the famous sea plane builders, using technology and materials from the sea planes. Saro (Anglesey) Ltd produced a small amount of these 13ft 6inch outboard runabouts. Built using the method developed for the pontoons for the sea planes, using a single sheet of aluminium incorporates rounded bilge without joints. The hull is designed to give a high degree of stability and manoeuvrability. Designed to seat 4 - will tow a water skier.
12 volt battery, two fenders, three warps, lighting, bilge pump, switches and gauge, steering, remote controls, screen cover and all over cover.
Coupled to a Yamaha 9.9 4 stroke outboard engine. Twin fuel tanks.
This vessel will be supplied with a new two wheel SBS galvanised trailer.
